Introduction to Bent Pixels and This Privacy Policy

Bent Pixels, LLC ("Company," "We," "Us," "Our") recognizes that users care about how personally identifiable information is used and shared. This Privacy Policy outlines practices regarding the Service, which includes all services, sites, applications, offerings, or products offered by the company.

By using the Service, you accept these practices and policies, along with the Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. The Service uses YouTube API Services. The company does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 or allow such persons to register.

What Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When signing up, the company collects registration information including name, birth date or age range, gender, email address, physical address, and payment information (if applicable). Third-party login credentials (such as Facebook) may result in information sharing as disclosed at login time.

Information Collected Automatically

The Service automatically collects technical information including device type, IP address, cookie information, OS version, and requested pages. Mobile platform use may result in collection of device ID, hardware type, MAC address, IMEI, device name, and IP-based location data. Activity information and user interactions are also recorded.

How Your Information Is Shared

Sharing by You

The Service is inherently social. User participation makes names, usernames, profile pictures, and social profiles visible to others. User-profile information including name, location, and uploaded video or image content may display to other users to facilitate interaction. Account privacy settings allow limiting visible information.

Content uploaded to public profiles, along with voluntarily disclosed information on discussion boards, messages, chat areas, etc., becomes publicly available for collection and use by others. Usernames display when sending messages, comments, or uploading content. Third-party social network friends may automatically import and access certain non-public profile information if also registered.

Sharing by Us

The company shares information with third parties as follows:

Service Providers: Third parties perform tasks including payment processing, data management, analytics, marketing, communication, and IT services. These providers cannot use information beyond what's necessary for providing services.
Bent Pixels Affiliates: Subject to applicable laws, information may be shared with affiliated or related companies, which must use information solely according to this Policy.
Business Transfers: Customer information is typically transferred in asset purchases, acquisitions, mergers, bankruptcies, or control changes.

Accounts are protected by passwords. Users must prevent unauthorized account and information access by selecting and protecting passwords appropriately and not sharing account information, reusing passwords, or using previously-used passwords.

The company endeavors to protect account and information privacy, but cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time.

Where Your Information Will Be Held

What Information You Can Access

Through account settings in the Bent Pixels dashboard at dashboard.bentpixels.com (provided by Paladin Software), users may access, edit, or delete provided information and interaction records. Available information and update abilities vary by Service.

What Choices You Have

Users may opt not to disclose information or disable certain browser or device tools, though this may limit full Service utilization.

Through Google's security settings page, users may revoke YouTube API Data use consent. The company will delete such data within 30 calendar days of revocation.

EEA residents may object to personal information processing, request processing restrictions, or request information portability. Data deletion requests will be fulfilled unless retention is legally required. Contact support@bentpixels.com for details.

Users may opt in to mobile push notifications and disable them through device settings. Email and other communications may be adjusted through account preferences or opt-out links in emails. Cookie-related choices are detailed in the Cookie Policy.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

The company may amend this Policy. Current information use is subject to the Policy in effect when used. Material changes trigger notification through the applicable Service or provided contact means before becoming effective. Users are bound by changes upon Service use after posting.
